Stack

For these pieces I experimented with simple forged forms that are able to be worn on their own or in different combinations to create different three dimensional forms and overall shapes when stacked and worn together. I have made these in a variety of metals and with a choice of finishes.

Precious

I created this collection for an exhibition I was part of at D11 Gallery in Docklands Melbourne. I started to look at the precious nature of materials and began to melt down and recycle metal into ingots. I then created a series of forged rings from those ingots using traditional techniques. I substituted ‘precious stones’ with fabricated "stones", also forged from those same ingots. The combination of metals used are an indication of what I see as precious.

Form

These pieces initially began when I was given a lot of old copper strapping found in a barn. I got so excited that I began to miniaturise many of the elements that I have enjoyed forging out of steel. Copper is such a beautiful metal to work with. It’s so compliant and has such warm, changing colours.
